Final Steps to Finish Print Job?
« on: January 09, 2014, 08:52:04 AM »
Hello, I'm preparing to print my first project on a Bukobot-v2-Vanilla using PLA.  I went through the checklist and all is clear.  What is not clear is what to do when the printing is complete.  Should I remove the filament from the nozzle and keep the extruder hot until the PLA is evacuated?  Or just leave the filament in-place and let it harden in-situ?  Your help is appreciated.

I leave it there and let it harden in the extruder head. It will warm up and begin extruding again whenever you start your next print.
