Brown out Reset
« on: September 06, 2013, 01:25:54 AM »
Ever since I switched my power supply from 220 to 120, I have been getting Brown out Reset messages in the Repetier-Host messages window. Here are some examples:

My input voltage fluctuates from about 119 V AC to 123 V AC, and my output voltage under load is 12.02 V DC. I am not having problems with any of my computers, so I don't think it is a problem with my AC voltage. And I am using a surge suppressor.

This is happening frequently enough that I can no longer print without the print failing mid print.

I have just tested this with a different 12 V power supply, and I am still getting the brown out resets. I assume this means that the problem is with my X3 controller board.

Sometimes the problem is in the least obvious place. I replaced the cable between the power supply and the X3 board, and the problem seems to be resolved.
