Any way to force an object to print using extruder 2
« on: August 22, 2013, 10:40:41 PM »
My Extruder 1 is not working (see http://forum.bukobot.com/index.php?topic=2926.msg4090#new).

While I wait for a solution to this problem, is there any way to force an object to print using extruder 2?

There are two ways. You can set up your print profile in Slic3r to perimeters, fill and support all with extruder 2, or you can select extruder 2 before you start printing. If you choose the latter option, it's recommended to slice using the single extruder profile so that the extruder 1 offset won't be applied, causing your parts to print off-center.
